Today is a perfect day to pray for peace in the Holy Land through Mary’s intercession. Prayers for the ministry of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre throughout the world.<\/p>\n

Because we follow the Lex Orandi tradition, the following prayer is the opening collect for the Mass.<\/p>\n

Let us pray.<\/p>\n

Heavenly Father,
\nwe humbly ask you, through the
\nintercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Palestine, to help us overcome all the difficulties
\nwhich face us in this Holy Land,
\nthe land which your Son has made Holy;
\nfor it is in this land where our Savior took flesh
\nand brought the entire world to Redemption.
\nWe beseech you Father,
\nstrengthen us in faith, service, and perseverance so that we may be witnesses
\nto that unending act of love,
