A biographer notes that Blessed Maria Assunta was happy to be assigned to do farmwork \u2014working with chickens, goats and the pigs. I can relate to her happiness in this service. What was striking was her letter to her parents where she wrote of her mission: \u201cI ask the Lord for the grace to make known to the world purity of intention\u2014which consists in doing everything for the love of God, even the ordinary of actions.\u201d<\/p>\n
