He succeeds Abbot Bruno who has served as <em>praeses<\/em> since 2004.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474544658500_3854\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474544658500_3855\"><span id=\"yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1474544658500_4243\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">Abbot Guillermo was born in 1956, ordained priest in 1980, professed as a monk of Guatap\u00e9 in 1986. In 1991, Father was elected the Conventual Prior of Santa Mar\u00eda de la Epifan\u00eda (Guatap\u00e8), Rionegro-Antioquia, Colombia, and then elected community\u2019s first abbot in 1999.
