This Polish born Lutheran pastor was hanged for his adherence to Jesus Christ by the Nazi party.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: \u00a0God will not hold us guiltless. \u00a0Not to speak is to speak. <span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Not to act is to act.\u201d<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">A recent biography by\u00a0Charles Marsh,\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Strange-Glory-Life-Dietrich-Bonhoeffer\/dp\/0307269817\">Strange Glory<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is, by many reports, a fine introduction to this\u00a0Christian witness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"text_exposed_show\">Pastor\u00a0Bonhoeffer&#8217;s\u00a0witness urge me\u00a0to be a more prophetic disciples of the Lord.
