\nOf the King of Kings,
\nGive ear to our voices.<\/p>\n
We acknowledge thee to be the Prince of the citizens of heaven:
\nAnd at thy prayer God sends
\nHis angels unto men,<\/p>\n
That the enemy with cunning craft shall not prevail
\nTo do the hurt he craves
\nTo weary men.
\nYea, thou hast the dominion of perpetual Paradise,
\nAnd ever do the holy angels honour thee.<\/p>\n
Thou wert seen in the Temple of God,
\nA censer of gold in thy hands,
\nAnd the smoke of it fragrant with spices
\nRose up till it came before God.<\/p>\n
Thou with strong hand didst smite the cruel dragon,
\nAnd many souls didst rescue from his jaws.
\nThen was there a great silence in heaven,
\nAnd a thousand thousand saying “Glory to the Lord King.”<\/p>\n
Hear us, Michael,

\nFrom thy high seat,
\nTo bring us the strength of God,
