He was missioned by the Society of Jesus, since 1957, to shepherd various causes for recognition as blesseds and saints. At his death, the Society said it thinks Father Paolo\u00a0brought more than 46 causes to\u00a0beatification or canonization which includes more than 150 persons now\u00a0honored as blessed or saints.<\/p>\n<p>On May 2, 2014, Father Paolo Molnari met the Lord of the Harvest; Father died in Rome.<\/p>\n<p>Father Paolo Molnari is\u00a0the man who knew lots about saints. He once described saints as \u201cordinary people living in a way that ordinary people don\u2019t;\u00a0doing good beyond what good people do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Professionally,\u00a0Father Molinari served \u00a0as a\u00a0professor of theology at the\u00a0Pontifical Gregorian University and as the\u00a0president of the\u00a0Vatican\u2019s College of Postulators; he also advised the Pontiffs on technicalities of the process.
