Prayer is not talking to yourself but time spent before and with the Divine Mystery.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis asked the other day: do we pray for AND with the Church, locally and universally?<\/p>\n<p>I would recommend that you connect with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apostleshipofprayer.org\"><strong>Apostleship of Prayer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u2026 they do good work.<\/p>\n<p>The papal prayer intentions that we are asked to remember during the month of February:<\/p>\n<p><em>The general intention<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That the Church and society may respect the wisdom and experience of older people.<\/p>\n<p><em>The missionary intention<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That priests, religious, and lay people may work together with generosity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prayer is our recognizing the fact that we are in relationship with Another: God certainly takes the first step, but we respond in kind.
