On this Fifth Sunday of Lent we approach the Cross of Jesus, the Tree of Life!<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/span><\/p>\n

Finding Jesus in the temple<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching, there the leaders brought<\/span><\/p>\n

Forth a woman caught in sinning:<\/span><\/p>\n

Trapping Him was in their thoughts.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, instead of giving answers,<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus wrote upon the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Let the sinless start the stoning.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking up, no one was found.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

“See,” the prophet said in gladness,<\/span><\/p>\n

“God is doing something new!<\/span><\/p>\n

Cleansing, living waters, flowing<\/span><\/p>\n

For us all with mercy true.”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Each of us has known the wonder<\/span><\/p>\n

Of forgiveness, full and free<\/span><\/p>\n

In the mercy we are given<\/span><\/p>\n
