He is the patron saint of beekeepers, engaged couples,<br \/>\nepilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague,<br \/>\ntravelers, and young people. Valentine is often portrayed with birds and roses<br \/>\nin iconography.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;\">As a cultural note, the Flaminian Way is one of the principal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.answers.com\/topic\/roman-road\"><span style=\"color:windowtext;\ntext-decoration:none;text-underline:none\">Roman roads<\/span><\/a> leading from<br \/>\nRome to Gaul.
