The Pope said:<\/p>\n<p><i>In this context,\u00a0I would like in particular way to recall and recommend the ancient tradition of &#8220;Lectio\u00a0divina&#8221;: &#8220;the diligent reading of Sacred Scripture accompanied by\u00a0prayer brings about that intimate dialogue in which the person reading hears\u00a0God who is speaking, and in praying, responds to him with trusting openness of\u00a0heart&#8221; (cf. Dei Verbum, 25).
