Rather than presume, the Church offers this sacred image to us for our prayer.<\/p>\n<p>This hymn captures poetically the vocation of these two saints.<\/p>\n<p>For your servants and your bishops,<br \/>\nGod, this day our thanks we bring.<br \/>\nTimothy and Titus, teachers<br \/>\nOf your word: their praise we sing.<br \/>\nIn the church&#8217;s youngest days<br \/>\nThey were faithful to your ways;<br \/>\nWith Saint Paul the gospel preaching,<br \/>\nEach day saw them new souls reaching.<\/p>\n<p>With such witnesses surrounded,<br \/>\nLet us run in faith our race<br \/>\nThat, with Jesus as our leader,<br \/>\nBuoyed up with Spirit&#8217;s grace<br \/>\nWe may reach our heav&#8217;nly goal,<br \/>\nTrue in body and in soul.<br \/>\nPraise the Father, Son, and Spirit!<br \/>\nWe are saved through Jesus&#8217; merit!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">J.
