Dull ears,
\nattend what word this Word doth bring;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Up, heavy
\nhearts, with joy your joy embrace.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

From death, from
\ndark, from deafness, from despairs<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This life, this
\nlight, this Word, this joy repairs.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Gift better than
\nhimself God doth not know;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Gift better than
\nhis God no man can see.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

This gift doth
\nhere the giver given bestow;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Gift to this
\ngift let each receiver be.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

God is my gift,
\nhimself he freely gave me;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

God’s gift am I,
\nand none but God shall have me.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Man altered was
\nby sin from man to beast;<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Beast’s food is

Now God is flesh

As hay, the

O happy field
