We are treated as impostors, and yet<br \/>\nare true; as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as<br \/>\npunished, and yet not killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet<br \/>\nmaking many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><i>Father, you<br \/>\nsent Saint Denis and his companions to preach your glory to the nations, and you<br \/>\ngave them the strength to be steadfast in their sufferings for Christ. Grant<br \/>\nthat we may learn from their example to reject the power and wealth of this<br \/>\nworld and to brace all earthly trials.<\/i><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Let us pray for France, the Church&#8217;s eldest daughter and for the Archdiocese of Paris as it commemorates the martyrdom of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newadvent.org\/cathen\/04721a.htm\">Saint Denis<\/a> and his companions.
