Triumph comes quickly; Far-distant nations soon with light thou fillest, O noble exile.<\/p>\n<p>Liberty holy for the flock redeemed,<br \/>Liberty, which Christ places over all things,<br \/>Impelleth Anselm: who could be more zealous<br \/>As its defender?<\/p>\n<p>Thee, Rome acclaimeth, glorious Archbishop.<br \/>Thee the high Pontiff giveth worthy honours;<br \/>Silent the Fathers; of thee the faith demandeth:<br \/>Guard thou its doctrine.<\/p>\n<p>Think on thy chosen flock, and be their patron:<br \/>Pray the eternal Trinity to bless them,<br \/>His be the praises through the world resounding<br \/>Now and forever.
