Here too Persephone has begun
the agon of her emergence.
Shall we not behold her beauty
With Eyes and in Scent on wafting breeze
Piercing through our Hearts
To transcend our shared fate
To raise our Self from chothnic dark
To the Light beyond all reckoning.
