my name is matthew gendzwill and I have been around for a while too! I like biographical note concerning you that you are discerning a vocation to holy order at a later time than might be expected. My diocese turned me down because I am fifty and there are nine young men in seminary now.
Dear Matt,
Not knowing the circumstances it is hard for me to comment. It’s sad thing that a vocation is frustrated in this manner. Do you have a clear sense that your diocese will not take into their formation program? Have you spoken to neighboring dioceses?
